Teacher Assistant - Temporary Position March 1st - June 28th (with an option to return in September)

We are looking for a part-time assistant to work 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM

We mostly need help on the following days: Tu, The, Fri. Possibility to work AM shift 9 AM - 1:30 PM.

Position Description:

-Assist with setting up and maintaining a clean, safe and healthy classroom environment

-Interact in a caring and professional manner with children and families while recognizing and maintaining confidentiality standards and requirements

-Assist with planning, preparing and implementing developmentally appropriate individual and group activities

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Reggio-Emilia inspired or familiarity with the methodology and willingness to learn. CDA or AS in ECE (current students strongly encouraged to apply), CPR/First Aid Cert, Min 2 years experience working with children aged 1-4. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Positive attitude and a sense of adventure :)

Compensation: $20 per hour.

Chef de Cuisine/Cook - Lunch/Supper Prep  - Part-time 11 am to 1 pm

We are searching for a fast/creative part-time cook to prepare daily lunch and supper  for 12 children. We currently have a 3-week s menu rotation that changes for each season and follows CACFP meal patterns.  We are looking for someone who enjoysworking with children and is able to work in a residential setting. 

Position Description:

- prepare lunch and/or supper for a group of children aged 2-4

- follow CACFP meal patterns

- follow eclectic menu or propose new menu items 

Qualifications:

-experience cooking for children, large groups
